What is OVSS?

The Ohio Valley Scottish Society (OVSS) is a non-profit charitable organization whose mission is to promote and preserve the heritage and culture of Scotland through the Scottish arts of highland dancing, drumming and piping.

We accomplish our mission by providing scholarships for students to attend the Ohio Scottish Arts School held every June at Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, and by sponsoring the annual Cincinnati Indoor Highland Dance Competition.

We are certified for tax exempt status under IRS Section 501 (C)(3). All donations to OVSS are tax deductible and support students of the Scottish arts.
